‘...preserving Welwyn’s history on film for over 50 years…’
Welwyn Pavillion - reborn
During 2020 and 2021 we were unable to invite you to our normal film shows due to the Covid 19 regulations, but are now pleased to announce that we can once again organise shows. Our next shows will be during the Welwyn Festival on the 28th and 29th June 2023 at 8 pm in Welwyn Civic Centre.
Some of our filmare available to view through our Facebook page.

Refreshments will not be available during the interval but smooching during the performances is permitted if it does not upset the person seated alongside you !
As it’s aim, The Welwyn Film Record Society attempts to record as wide a variety of details of our village life as possible during the year.
This material is edited together to produce a video record of Welwyn during those twelve months.
Film Shows
Whilst it is not our policy to offer our annual films for sale, we arrange showings not only during the Welwyn Festival, but also at any time during the year for local Societies or any other interested groups. Please contact us for details.
Village sport has always featured in our films, such as this cricket match from 1979
